How You Can Partner With Local Businesses

Local corporations will discuss the realities of corporate giving and ways their companies are working with nonprofits.

Moderated by DeShele Denise Dorsey
Managing Director, Corporate Social Engagement Division, Changing Our World, Inc.

As Managing Director, DeShele is an experienced strategist and program designer for comprehensive corporate social engagement platforms. Since 2002 she has been a key partner for companies, using her wealth of expertise to plan and establish a number of strategic efforts including corporate giving programs, signature programs and employee engagement initiatives that meet both philanthropic and business objectives. She brings experience in strategic planning, program development, grants  management and evaluation to her client engagements at Changing Our World, working with Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits including FedEx, UBS Financial Services, the National Visionary Leadership Project and Plan USA.

An international consulting firm, Changing Our World, Inc. helps corporations create and implement philanthropic programs that add value to their core business by providing individualized solutions in all areas of fundraising and philanthropy. Clients include: Girl Scouts USA, Junior Achievement of New York, Larry King Foundation, Make A Wish Foundation New York, National Urban League, Tiger Woods Foundation, and the United Nations World Food Programme.

Cost is $10
$5 for Foundation fund holders, members of the presenting partners and their respective boards 
(Alone, or in addition to the cost of the Nov. 18 Dutchess County Regional Chamber Contact Breakfast)

Participants are encouraged to attend the Chamber breakfast to hear Dorsey speak on, "Corporate Philanthropy in the New Landscape:  How Businesses can Capitalize on Creativity and Maximize Impact."  Cost of the breakfast is an additional $20 for Chamber members; $30 for non-members.
