Community Foundation Announces New Trustees & Officers
Poughkeepsie, NY –The Community Foundation is pleased to announce their newly elected officers and board of trustees for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. Newly elected officers of the Foundation are: Sue Hartshorn, President, Montgomery Row Chair; Arthur DeDominicis, Arthur DeDominicis CPA and Associates, Vice Chair – Audit; Nancy Rossi Brownell, Local Coordinator, Horizons Du Monde, Vice Chair – Community Response Grants; Joseph A. Bonura, Jr., Managing Partner, Poughkeepsie Waterfront Development, LLC, Vice Chair– Development and Marketing; Elizabeth Peale Allen, Community Volunteer, Vice Chair – Governance; Patrick Adams, Corporate Secretary, Adams Fairacre Farms, Vice Chair – Finance and Treasurer; J. Joseph McGowan, Esq., Attorney, McCabe & Mack, LLP, Secretary; Timothy Dean, President, Marshall & Sterling, Inc., Assistant Secretary. The following trustees have been appointed to serve an additional three-year term: Joseph A. Bonura, Jr., Nancy Rossi Brownell, Timothy Dean, Stephen E. Diamond, Esq., Lorraine Roberts, Steven Tinkelman and Arthur R. Upright. Matthew Marrone, Vice President and Branch Manager, Marshall & Sterling, Inc. has been appointed as a new member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Marrone currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Putnam Hospital Center Foundation. Additionally he serves on the boards of the Putnam County Economic Development Corporation, the Kent Revitalization & Restoration Board, and the Raymond Hill Cemetery Board of Directors. “The addition of Matthew Marrone to our Board is important”, said Andrea Reynolds, President and CEO of the Community Foundation. “As the Foundation continues to expand its outreach in Putnam County, having a member of our Board live and work in Putnam County is critical in promoting the mission and work of the Foundation.” About the Community Foundation Established in 1969, the Community Foundation is your first resource for everything charitable.
