Submission Information
The Claudia Ann Seaman Award for Young Writers was created by the Seaman family in memory of their daughter and sister, a young poet. In 2010, the CAS Award acknowledges excellence in teen writing in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.
Open to: All students in grades 9 – 12
Submission: Each participant may submit a total of three poems, essays, or stories (1500 word limit for fiction and creative nonfiction) Deadline: Entries must be received by April 15, 2010 Cash Award: $200 award for each genre Award Announcement: September 20, 2010 Guidelines: Go to www.polyphonyhs.com/guidelines for important instructions. How to Submit: There are three ways to submit (in order of preference): - Preferred: Submit your work directly to Polyphony H.S. at www.polyphonyhs.com. This is the best way to submit your work.
