The Community Foundation of Dutchess County and the Ulster County Community Foundation seeks to be a responsive and proactive community partner that works strategically to address existing and emerging community issues. The Community Foundation has invested millions in the form of grants to nonprofit organizations. Organizations recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and/or a qualified government entity and located in our service area are eligible to receive grants. Grant applications will be available from this site based on the schedule below. If you have any questions, please contact Nevill Smythe, Vice President, Programs.
This fall we have moved many of our grant programs to an online application. If you click on the various grant programs below you will either find Guidelines and an Application or Guidelines and a link to the Online Application Portal. It is important for a potential grantee to read and understand the grant guidelines before beginning any application. We will be announcing workshops shortly to introduce you to the new grant interface. If you are interested in being on the workshop email list and are not sure you are in the Community Foundation's database, please contact Erin Hill and provide her with your name, email and organization. More information will be available shortly. Grant Programs
