The Fund for Excellence in Education Grants Program
Each year the Community Foundation of Dutchess County’s Fund for Excellence in Education grants program awards grants to teachers who propose creative projects to enhance their teaching and stimulate student interest. This grant program is open to all public, private, and parochial teachers in grades Pre-K – 12 throughout Dutchess County. As budgets continue to become more restrictive, these mini-grants offer opportunities for teachers to carry out projects that would not be possible otherwise. The Foundation awards grants of various amounts up to $2,000 for these projects.
The Fund for Excellence in Education is a group of permanently endowed funds with the Foundation. Income from these funds supports the Community Foundation's Fund for Excellence in Education Grants Program.
