In February 2021, Nadia Smith, 28, obtained a corgi puppy named Wilbur and learned about the monarch's dog Muick via a Facebook group post.

After doing some research, Smith asserts that both dogs are descendants of the same breeder.

I discovered to my shock. At first, I believed it to be an odd coincidence.

Smith also mentioned that she ran into Muick when she went to the breeder to pick up Wilbur.

We actually held the queen's corgi, and we also have his sibling! You never expect to hear someone say, "The queen's dog chewed my shoelaces."

Throughout her 70-year reign, Elizabeth had several dogs because she had a strong fondness for corgis.

Her affection for the breed dates back to her early years, when at the age of seven she explicitly asked for a Pembroke Welsh corgi in 1933.

Her corgis will now be cared after by her son Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
